Province of Alberta Clean Energy Improvement Program
This program is also known as PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy Program) in other jurisdictions. Offers low interest loans paid back through your property taxes. There is no requirement within this program for full repayment when you sell your home – the new homeowner will resume the payments.

Rebates for Energy Efficient Homes Through Mortgage Insurers

The 2021 federal budget has proposed 4.4 Billion dollars over 5 years to help up to 200,000 homeowners complete deep home retrofits through interest free loans of up to $40,000. Through the link below, you can be notified when the program launches and details are revealed.
Federal Government Greener Homes Grant
On May 27, 2021, the federal government announced the Greener Homes Grant. Up to 700,000 households are eligible for grants up to $5,000 for energy improvements. This program will continue for the next 7 years. See details below or contact us here to learn what upgrades qualify.
City of Edmonton Home Energy Retrofit Accelorator Program
In January, 2021, the city of Edmonton launched their HERA Program. This program can be combined with the Greener Homes Grant for qualifying upgrades. To find which upgrades are eligable reach out to us here or learn more on the city of Edmonton’s website through the link below.
